Scientists detect a "tsunami" of gravitational waves

The international gravitational wave community including CGA scientists announced 35 new diverse detections and in total, 90 detections after three observing runs between the years of 2015 and 2021. CGA scientists played a key role in improving the sensitivity of the LIGO detectors that made this 'tsunami' of detections possible.
